I am passionate about the inclusion and mental health agendas and advocate on these topics because I believe more needs to be done to enable sustainable success for all.

I support people and organisations working on these areas by drawing on my experience, which includes Executive Sponsor for the Diversity & Inclusion programme at Liberty Specialty Markets.

The world is becoming more interconnected and complex and the same people thinking about the same things in the same way will not solve the challenges of today and tomorrow. 

Why this matters to me

I believe that acceptance is at the heart of inclusion. Before we can think about understanding others, we need to think about what parts of ourselves we need to accept first.

There are many parts of my background and experiences, including stress and depressive periods, that I’ve learnt to accept and actively embrace over time. My own experiences mean I can talk from the heart and connect on a personal level in all my advocacy work.

In 2019 I was recognised as a role model for my openness on the subject of mental health on the InsideOut Leaderboard – a social enterprise with a mission of ending the stigma of mental illness in the workplace by working with leaders willing to speak about their own experience.

I serve as a coach for She Leads Change. A transformative approach to leadership for women driving change and innovation. It allows change-makers to better hear their own voice, inform choices, navigate relationships and engage positively within existing systems.
